We have at least three hedgehogs that live and/or feed in our garden: they have a really smart 'hotel', pukka hog food and plenty of water. I often see or hear them when I'm out at night with the telescope, but it was a surprise to see one in broad daylight, helping itself at the bird feeding station. Close examination with binoculars revealed that it was mostly eating the pellets of suet, but definitely wasn't averse to peanuts and sunflower seeds...
