Once we'd finished parceling up today's orders, Linda and I decided to take advantage of the clear blue skies and go for a five-mile stroll around the village. Luckily, we need only walk to the end of Mill Road to be in the countryside: I honestly do feel for those who aren't so fortunate...
There were plenty of other folk out for exercise, but by choosing our route carefully, we managed to avoid the more congested lanes and came across some interesting wildlife. Lots of Buzzards, of course, including a nest-building pair and a couple on the ground. Skylark and Pied Wagtail were both year ticks, while several Hares were as welcome as ever: what beautiful creatures they are!
