Brian, Norman and I had intended to head south to look for Tree Pipits, but the weather forecast - correctly - suggested that we could expect heavy rain in the south of the county. Instead we revisited the Stilts at Hickling, getting much better views today. Common Sandpiper joined Green & Wood sands, as well as Little Ringed Plover, Temminck's Stint, Crane and Hooded Crow.
Back home by lunchtime, my sandwich was interrupted by the pager informing me of an Osprey at Ormesby Little Broad - half an hour later I was watching it eating a large Bream (In the pouring rain!)
