Every now and then Linda attempts to grow Echiums, strange biennial plants that originated in North Africa. In the past these have all fizzled out in the first few months, but this year she's finally been lucky! These two were bought as small seedlings at the Bishop's Garden, Norwich Cathedral. They have reached well over ten feet in height and have just begun to flower: what magnificent plants!
I also post a few pictures of our small (insect-filled) garden to show that you don't have to cover everything with fake grass, decking and concrete.
