Beautiful first quarter Moon

Tonight the sky is really clear, with a beautiful Moon just begging to be photographed! I confess I was too idle to get out the telescope and all the other paraphernalia, so I just used my trusty 300mm prime and 1.4 converter. It can be quite tricky getting the settings right, but a couple of images were worth saving: look at those fabulous crater fields along the terminator.
