A walk to the Post Office (in a T-shirt for a change!) indicated that a bit of a raptor passage was going on: several Buzzards and a Sparrowhawk were riding thermals above the village. Returning home as quickly as possible, I was pleased to see 'our' local Buzzards and a third individual were soaring overhead. No sign of the Sparrowhawk, but a Hobby - first of the year on the Heath - moved quickly through.
