Sunspots, Moonshots and syzygy!

Some fascinating and complex sunspot groups yesterday, as well as several pale regions. Tomorrow morning (early!) there will be a total lunar eclipse: the Moon passes into the Earth's shadow just before dawn, so you'll need to be out of bed by 3.30 or so to watch the Moon gradually turn blood red. Totality is around 4.30: fingers crossed for clear skies!
