I was on the phone to a customer just now when a flash of black, white and red went past the window and landed in the bird bath! I'm afraid I concluded our deal a little abruptly but was in time to grab a couple of shots as the bird - the first garden GSW for months - climbed up the pergola!
Not a 'rare' or a 'hot bird', but it was in my garden and thus extremely welcome!
