Seawatching at Walcott: a morning out (part 1)

With a very stiff northerly blowing and the promise of sunshine later, Linda and I headed east to Walcott for an hour or two's seawatching. Conditions seemed perfect and we weren't surprised to see group after group of Gannets, Scoter and mixed Auks streaming north (into the wind!) A few Kittiwakes tagged along with the Gannets, but none of the hoped-for unusual gulls, divers,  petrels, shearwaters or skuas. Very enjoyable and highly exhilarating, but we felt we were in the wrong place, so we decided to move around the coast to Cley...
