The sky cleared briefly after sunset and, before the waning Moon rose, the 'seeing' was pretty good: it won't be long before the Spring constellations replace Orion and Taurus, so I had another bash at the Orion Nebula. JUpiter is still very bright in the south west, while the ISS skimmed low in the south.
Back in the fifties when I first became interested in Astronomy, I never would have believed it would be possible to take images liked these with an ordinary camera!
