A round trip to Potter Heigham this morning took Linda and me past Ludham Airfield. At first the only bird of note was a Peregrine that flew low over the car: after a look round we picked up the Swan herd at the far side, past the control tower. Following a quick drive round we found a gap in the hedge where we could watch from the car: there were around fifty birds, most of which were Whoopers. Driving home, we stopped at Ludham Bridge, but couldn't find yesterday's SEOs...
