Happy families!

Although our breeding Turtle Doves failed to reappear this year, we are still pretty fortunate in having a secluded garden in a rural location. In the spirit of the RSPB's 'Make a home for nature' (but entirely off her own bat!) Linda has provided a wide variety of food and habitat for the past twenty years and the results have been most encouraging.

This year our feeding stations have regularly been visited by family groups of Red-legged Partridge, Pheasant, Magpie, Jay, Rook, Wood Pigeon, Stock Dove, Collared Dove, Blackbird, Starling, Robin, Great Tit, Blue Tit, Chaffinch, House Sparrow and - best of all - Hedgehog!
