Linda and I popped over to Raveningham this afternoon to pick up our beautiful Stock Dove sculptures: while we were there I noticed that the small pond in front of the house was alive with Willow Emeralds. It's amazing how the species has flourished since I saw my first while looking at the Sandhill Crane in Suffolk.
The two Doves are nestled down on the patio, next to our - now completed - dragonfly sculpture: we collected the extra reed mace at Felmingham Hall yesterday.
