Triple planetary conjunction!

Up with the lark (well: before, in fact!) to take a look at the three-way conjunction between Saturn, Mars and Jupiter. With a totally clear sky and a temperature of four degrees, my hands were shaking rather too much for crisp photography - I was forced to use high ISOs to get a short exposure time. Still: you get the idea! With Venus still a brilliant object at sunset and Mercury joining the dawn trio (if you have a really clear eastern horizon!) it's a great time for planet watchers!

I stayed on the Heath to carry out my monthly bird survey at the Church: not too much about, but a calling Little Owl was nice!
